Narcissistic Abuse Recovery

Reclaim Your Voice. Rebuild Your Self-Trust

Living through narcissistic abuse can make you question everything—your feelings, your reality, your worth. Maybe you’ve been gaslit for so long that you no longer trust your own instincts. Maybe you were taught to prioritize someone else’s needs while silencing your own. Maybe you’ve spent years wondering, “Was it really that bad?”

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone. And no, you’re not imagining it.

Whether the abuse came from a parent, a partner, or a family system steeped in control and shame, you deserve to break free. You deserve to heal.

As a trauma therapist and survivor myself, I help adult survivors of narcissistic abuse untangle from toxic conditioning, reconnect with their inner wisdom, and reclaim their sense of power.

Understanding Narcissistic Abuse

Narcissistic abuse isn’t just about someone being “mean” or “difficult.” It’s a deeply manipulative dynamic that often includes:

  • Gaslighting (making you doubt your reality)

  • Emotional manipulation and blame-shifting

  • Chronic guilt, fear, and walking on eggshells

  • Destruction of self-esteem and boundaries

  • Isolation from your own voice, body, and community

You may still hear their voice in your head—questioning, criticizing, or shaming you. But their voice doesn’t get the final word. You do.

How Therapy Can Help

Healing from narcissistic abuse isn’t just about “moving on”—it’s about reclaiming the parts of you that were silenced, shamed, or made to feel small.

In our work together, we’ll gently and safely explore:

  • Unpacking and challenging internalized messages (“I’m too sensitive,” “I can’t trust myself”)

  • Rebuilding your self-trust, self-worth, and intuition

  • Learning how to set boundaries without guilt

  • Processing trauma responses using EMDR and Parts Work (IFS-Informed Therapy)

  • Identifying the protective parts of you that helped you survive—and helping them soften

An Integrative Approach to Recovery

Because narcissistic abuse often leads to complex trauma, dissociation, and self-doubt, I use a multi-layered approach to healing that includes:

🔹 EMDR Therapy – To reprocess traumatic memories, release emotional charge, and restore a sense of safety.

🔹 Parts Work (IFS-Informed) – To compassionately work with the inner parts of you that are still protecting or holding pain.

🔹 Somatic and nervous system regulation tools – To help your body relearn what safety and calm can feel like.

🔹 Culturally aware, trauma-informed care – Especially for BIPOC, Latinx, immigrant, and LGBTQIA+ survivors who’ve been gaslit not just by individuals, but by entire systems.

You Might Relate If...

  • You constantly second-guess yourself or feel “crazy” after certain interactions

  • You find it hard to say no, set boundaries, or express your needs

  • You struggle with guilt, shame, or feeling “never enough”

  • You’re out of the relationship—but still feel trapped inside

  • You’re tired of repeating toxic patterns in new relationships

  • You just want to feel like yourself again

It’s Time to Reclaim Your Life

You are not too damaged. You are not too late. You are not who the narcissist said you were.

You are worthy of trust, love, safety, and freedom—and it starts with your relationship to yourself.
