1. Initial Therapy Intake with Me
Before beginning any KAP process, we’ll start with a 60-minute intake session ($220) to explore your history, goals, and readiness for psychedelic work. This is a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive space where you can ask questions, share your story, and feel supported as we determine if this path is right for you.
2. Medical Intake with Journey Clinical
Next, you’ll meet virtually with a clinician from Journey Clinical who will assess your medical and mental health history and determine whether ketamine is appropriate for you.
If approved, you’ll receive:
A personalized treatment plan
A small supply of ketamine lozenges (enough for 2 sessions)
Guidance on how to monitor your vitals and safely self-administer your medication
3. Preparation Session(s)
These sessions help you prepare emotionally, mentally, and physically for the journey ahead. We’ll explore your intentions, create safety around the process, and begin to build trust between us. Preparation is a key part of Integrative Psychedelic Psychotherapy—honoring both your inner wisdom and the medicine’s potential.
4. KAP Dosing Session
A dosing session lasts 1.5 to 3 hours and may take place in person or via telehealth. You’ll take your ketamine lozenge while resting comfortably with support.
Though this is often an internal, introspective process, I’ll be there throughout to ensure safety, co-regulation, and emotional containment.
This is your time. You may revisit important memories, hear from inner parts of yourself, or feel long-held emotions begin to release. Every session is unique.
5. Integration Sessions
In the days that follow, we’ll meet to process what arose and translate it into meaningful change. Integration helps you weave insights into your daily life—so that your healing becomes embodied and sustainable.
This is where the long-term impact of KAP really unfolds.
6. Ongoing Medical Monitoring
Journey Clinical will continue to support you with quarterly (or as-needed) check-ins and ketamine prescription refills based on your individualized treatment plan.
