Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Therapy & Healing

Do I have to be in crisis to start therapy?

No. Many people come to therapy because they want support, clarity, or a safe space to process life experiences. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy.

What’s the difference between therapy and talking to a friend?

Therapy provides a confidential, non-judgmental space with a trained professional who can help you:

-Understand patterns and triggers

-Learn coping and regulation skills

-Process trauma safely

-Build insight and self-trust

How does therapy work?

Therapy is collaborative and tailored to your needs. We’ll work together to identify goals and choose approaches that best support your healing.

How long will I be in therapy?

There is no set timeline. The length of therapy depends on your goals, the type of work you’re doing, and your pace.
